As all parents in the neighborhood are unsure of what the soon approaching fall back-to-school will look like, we just got some recent insight. Masks will be required.
Prince George’s County is looking to vaccinate 70 percent or more of students to ensue a hear immunity. Currently, 50 percent of eligible students have received the vaccine. As Maryland’s second largest school system, more vaccinations will be encouraged before a mask mandate could be revisited.
School begins this year on September 8, and many school systems around the country are trying to make a decision on face masks and back to school.
After being out of school for the past year and a half, we are hoping to provide our children with as much normalcy as possible, while staying safe. For all students 12 years and older, with parental consent they can be vaccinated. Just sign them up here for a free vaccine.
